I had a wonderful stay at Emerald Inn On Takapuna Beach. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beautiful beach and a great cafe for breakfast. The staff was accommodating and left the key under the mattress, making my late-night check-in hassle-free. The room itself was comfortable and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay.
